Will my purchase look like the one pictured?
Unless otherwise specified, your purchase will be similar to the item pictured but not the exact item. All items are one-of-a-kind gifts from nature. No two are alike. Your purchase will be your own unique specimen.
How do I purchase an item from your website?
Purchasing from our on-line gift shop is easy. Just follow these simple steps:
Find the item (s) you wish to purchase (be sure to choose any options available, such as size or color).
Enter the quantity you wish to purchase and then click on "Buy Now".
Your shopping cart will show the items you wish to purchase.
From here you can add to your purchase by clicking on "Keep Shopping".
Or, to complete your order:
Click on "Check Out" to complete your order. At the "Check Out" screen, returning customers can log in using their userid and password they previously set up. If you are a new customer, you must create a profile by first entering your email address and creating a password (min. 5 characters).
Then enter your billing address information, and your shipping address if it is different than your billing address.
Select your shipping option, and then choose your payment type - "pay by mail" or "credit card". Enter your credit card information if applicable, and once you click on "Continue" your order is complete! You can now view and print your order confirmation. We will also send you an order confirmation via email with a link so that you can check back to see if your order has shipped.
How will the item be shipped?
We ship our products via the U.S. Postal Service usually within 24 to 48 hours. Tickets will be held for you to pick up onsite unless specified otherwise.
What if I do not like my purchase?
All of our merchandise comes with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your purchase you may return it, in good condition, with the original sales receipt within 14 days for a full refund or exchange. Please note: purchaser is responsible for ALL RETURN SHIPPING CHARGES. Refunds will be issued In the same form of payment originally received.

Do any of the items at Mineral Planet Gift Shop come directly from the Cave at Cave of the Mounds?
None of the items for sale come from the cave. Cave of the Mounds is a National Natural Landmark and federally protected.
What if my purchase is damaged during shipping?
All of our packages are shipped USPS and insured. If your purchase is damaged during shipping please contact Mineral Planet within 7 days of receipt for an exchange (call 608-437-3038). Please save the package along with all of the packing materials.
